Bio
In any typical jorunal, blog, news article, novel, or pubished work, many parts of the factual information that culminates in a given idea are just that: facts. My recent ramblings have come to realize that journals can become much more than facts. They can be used in a way to express thoughts and feelings about a given situation as well. Sometimes, these tend to be more important than facts.

When we remember something, our mind can "blind" our thoughts and alter the memory depending on the situation. If you had a good time, for example, your mind may alter the memory to one that is much more enjoyable than the situation really was. Is this a bad thing? No. And yes. Because just as equally, a bad situation could turn into a terrible memory, even if, at the time of the event, it really wasn't that bad.

Having a journal doesn't mean one should write down every event that takes place. Rather, it should be a place where everyone who reads it can be enlightened by the experiences of the writer. Even the writer! I have on many occasions gone back to read journal entires from years past, and have gained insight not only how I've grown as a person, but also have releaned lessons from my past.

I tend to live a simple life up here in Northern California. During the day, I play on computers and networks at the local Junior College. It pays well, and I quite enjoy what I do and who I work with. My most recent endeavors in this field is my interest in the Mac platform; one that has its laughs and its tribulations. On the weekends, I try and go hiking as much as I can (weather pending), and have probably explored most of the area... I ache to explore more. :P

Recently, I've become a docent at the Robert Ferguson Observatory. This has dramatically increased my passion in astronomy. So much so that I plan on going back to school to get a second degree and one day teach astronomy or archaeoastronomy.

Anything else you want to know... read the journal. I don't write everyday, so you are free from daily ramblings. Though, my entries tend to be long. I ramble. As I'm doing with this "short" bio. ;)
